As a Learning & Capability Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future capability of our workforce by partnering with leaders across the business to identify critical skills needs and deliver impactful learning solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will diagnose capability gaps, develop strategic capability plans, and oversee the delivery of learning initiatives that drive performance, support transformation, and prepare our people for the future. This is an opportunity to influence business outcomes through innovative learning, capability development, and workforce growth strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with business leaders and People & Culture stakeholders to identify capability priorities, diagnose workforce capability gaps, and develop strategic capability roadmaps aligned to business objectives including risk and compliance and AI upskilling programs.

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of capability initiatives, from needs analysis and solution design through to implementation, governance, and measurement of outcomes.

  • Manage capability portfolios across multiple business areas, prioritising investments, engaging external partners, and ensuring learning solutions align with organisational goals and learning standards.

  • Leverage learning technologies, data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to enhance learning effectiveness, measure impact, and continuously improve capability outcomes.

What You Bring

  • Experience leading enterprise-wide learning, capability, organisational development, or workforce transformation initiatives within a large, regulated complex organisation.

  • Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven experience partnering with senior leaders to translate business challenges into practical capability solutions.

  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, capability development, behavioural change, learning evaluation, and modern learning technologies.

  • Strong project management and analytical skills, with experience managing multiple priorities, vendors, budgets, and capability programs while using data to demonstrate business impact and drive continuous improvement.
