The Manager, Tactical Sourcing is responsible for leading tactical sourcing activities across the organization, supporting low-value procurement while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards. This role partners closely with Strategic Sourcing and Category Managers to deliver sourcing support, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure alignment with broader procurement strategies. The incumbent will also play a key role in guiding business users on procurement processes, managing sourcing activities, and identifying opportunities for spend optimization and supplier consolidation.

• Execute tactical sourcing strategies to support organizational procurement needs
• Manage sourcing activities including spot-buying, RFQs, and ITQs for low-value purchases
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and authorization limits
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing and Category Managers to align sourcing activities with category strategies
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and spend optimization
• Track and report cost savings using established methodologies
• Drive monthly reporting and portfolio reviews to support category planning
• Provide guidance to business users on procurement policies, sourcing processes, and best practices
• Manage escalations and provide recommendations to resolve sourcing-related issues
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancement projects

Skills for Success

• Degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of experience in sourcing or procurement roles
• Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and procurement governance
• Experience handling high volumes of sourcing activities (e.g., spot-buy, RFQs, ITQs)
• Working knowledge of contractual terms and procurement compliance requirements
• Experience with sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba, Emptoris, Coupa)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across cross-functional teams

Good to Have

• Experience in indirect and IT procurement categories
• Exposure to procurement transformation or system enhancement initiatives
• Familiarity with spend analytics and reporting tools
