We are looking for a Pricing Manager to drive competitive and commercially sustainable pricing for International Data, Domestic Internet and Managed Services. You will take ownership of routine and complex pricing opportunities, working closely with Sales, Solution Managers, partners and Global Alliance teams to develop competitive end-to-end commercial solutions.

You will also leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools, where applicable, to strengthen pricing insights, scenario analysis, efficiency and decision-making.

 

Make an Impact by:

 

1. Pricing & Commercial Management

  • Independently manage routine and moderately complex pricing cases, applying commercial judgement within established frameworks and delegated approval limits.
  • Develop competitive and commercially sustainable pricing recommendations for International Data, Domestic Internet and Managed Services.
  • Conduct solution reviews and provide guidance to Solution Managers and Sales teams on cost-effective commercial solutions.
  • Ensure individual network and service components are appropriately priced to support sustainable margins.
  • Manage straightforward pricing decisions within the applicable Pricing Manager empowerment framework.
  • Escalate significant discounts, margin deviations, cross-subsidy requirements and other exceptions for appropriate approval.

 

2. Cost Optimisation & Commercial Negotiation

  • Work closely with partners and Global Alliance teams to improve cost structures and develop competitive end-to-end pricing.
  • Negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to improve commercial outcomes while maintaining price competitiveness.
  • Evaluate alternative commercial and solution scenarios to support pricing recommendations.
  • Clearly articulate and support pricing recommendations with appropriate commercial rationale.

 

3. Data Analytics, AI & Pricing Insights

  • Leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve pricing insights, benchmarking and scenario modelling.
  • Analyse market, cost and historical pricing information to support commercial decision-making.
  • Apply appropriate commercial judgement when interpreting AI-generated insights and analytical outputs.
  • Use available technology to improve pricing turnaround times and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure AI-supported and analytical outputs remain accurate, explainable and aligned with applicable governance requirements

4. Account & Bid Support

  • Serve as the pricing point of contact for assigned key accounts.
  • Support DIY bids and complex pricing cases in accordance with business requirements.
  • Partner with Sales and Solution teams on opportunities requiring pricing and commercial expertise.
  • Manage multiple high-priority pricing requests while maintaining accuracy, quality and responsiveness.
  • Support commercial objectives relating to total contract value, competitiveness and deal win rate.

 

5. Governance & Commercial Controls

  • Adhere to applicable financial, regulatory and commercial governance requirements.
  • Operate within established pricing empowerment and approval frameworks.
  • Ensure pricing recommendations and supporting assumptions are appropriately documented.
  • Identify opportunities requiring higher-level commercial review or approval and escalate accordingly.
  • Support commercially sustainable outcomes while maintaining appropriate governance and control standards.

 

 

Skills for Success

 

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in pricing, commercial management, finance, sales operations or business analysis.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data-analysis capabilities.
  • Strong pricing and commercial-analysis skills.
  • Good financial and commercial acumen.
  • Commercial negotiation and influencing capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate pricing recommendations and commercial rationale effectively.
  • Ability to independently manage routine and moderately complex pricing requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess non-standard commercial scenarios.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple requirements and deliver within agreed timelines.
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Solution and partner teams.
  • Telecommunications product knowledge.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation, advanced analytics or pricing optimisation.
  • AI literacy, including the ability to appropriately interpret AI-supported insights.
